Pretty girl! I love the green color of her outfit, and take it you must live somewhere warm! Her face seems a little dark especially in the second one, but I am not sure of the best way to fix/prevent it. Maybe fill flash? Hopefully some expert peas can give some suggestions. I look forward to seeing more of your photos. We have the same camera and I am learning too.
I agree her face could be lightened a tad, could probably fix it in photoshop. Otherwise, cute picture. She is adorable and I love the water fall in background. Great DOF

I agree about her face looking dark, but you did better than I...whenever I take a picture of my DD outside with a billed hat on, you can't see her face at all.
What a pretty girl! She reminds me a little bit of Katie Holmes here. I agree that her face is a little dark, but that's a pretty easy fix in PS!

Nice dof, what a pretty location to take a photo. I don't know how to use PS well, so I would probably just use fill-flash here to lighten up her face.
